About Us

The Old School Hall is owned by Almondsbury Parish Council who lease it to the Almondsbury Old School Village Hall charity – registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales Charity no. 301451. Our charitable objects are

For the purposes of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Almondsbury and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The current trustees of the charity are David Linthwaite and Mark Sutton

The charity is run by a committee of unpaid volunteers that are elected and appointed on an annual basis.
